I have lived in Greenville County, South Carolina since August of 1994, settling in the Golden Strip of Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Fountain Inn. I've come to love this area, with its proximity to the mountains, a growing mid-sized city, and a melting pot of primarily nice people. 🙂
I have loved exploring the area, praising local businesses, and suggesting activities. When On Purpose Adventures, based in Charleston, became a major client, and we began to expand offerings to the upstate area, we became members of VisitGreenville. Through them, I've now become a Certified Tourism Ambassador for Greenville, earning the designation of CTA.
The goal of a CTA is to encourage regional tourism (residents can be tourists too) and to turn every encounter into a positive experience.
My work for many years has involved behind-the-scenes administration and planning, including handling details for events. As a natural curator and collector of information, I have helped people connect with excellent experiences and businesses in our area. I serve as a friendly concierge and idea generator to those who follow my social media channels. I focus on offering positive, hopeful updates. The world is already noisy and negative, and I point out the good things. (If I don't mention something, I may not have experienced it, or if I had a negative experience, I don't want to disparage the business publicly.)
I'm available to be booked for consultations on Greenville, specifically regarding things to do and quality of life opportunities. Click the button to go to my services page and select what fits your time and budget.
